Black Duck at Sea

Welcome to the Black Duck at Sea Site. Launched in 2023 while we were cruising in Indonesia aboard our 33-foot sailboat, Black Duck, this platform has been documentation of our voyage from Australia to Greece. After 6 years of living onboard, we have sold our boat and moved ashore to take some time working.

Last year, we settled in Scandinavia, where I’ve begun to carve out a niche as a freelance writer and content creator specializing in sailing content.

The site is now expanding to include several exciting projects, such as an online writers club, a community-focused magazine, and a continued commitment to sharing the invaluable cruising insights we’ve gathered during our sailing.
